Sara's started as a small
family farm in 1977 selling homegrown produce on an old farm
wagon. Now, 28 years later, it has grown to become
one of the best known garden centers in Monroe county. We
currently offer over 2000 varieties of herbaceous perennials
with 3 acres of display beds. We produce an extended
range of annuals with some of the nicest hanging baskets
you'll find anywhere. Our Pond Department is recognized
for our knowledgeable, committed staff and a wide variety
of plant material for the water garden. What all started as a
passion has bloomed into a multi-generalist, family run
business growing relationships with our customers one plant at
a time.

Statement
It is our greatest desire to
provide our customers with top quality, well-grown plant
material at a fair and honest price. We will strive to provide
an ummatched selection of old favorites and underused,
hard-to-find items, along with the newest varieties on the
market. We will eagerly share our horticultural knowledge
gained from years of education and experience. Lastly, we
offer all this in an unassuming atmosphere of fun and
